SCULPTURES

Inspired by the California Light and Space Art of the 1960s, I started working with epoxy resin some time ago. The material has an almost magical quality that captivates me. My work with epoxy resin follows a slow and manual manufacturing process, the traces of which may still be visible in the result.

 

The sculpture is a meditation on the light and colours of Bremgarten's nature on a small scale – from the different shades of the river Reuss to the countless hues of the sky above the town. The sculpture was displayed in September 2024 at the ArtWalk Bremgarten. Visitors were invited to walk around the sculpture as its character and the interaction of the different layers of colour change depending on the angle and incidence of light.
